According to media reports, internal information from a German mobile operator indicates that the operator has warned employees to prepare in advance, as a well-known mobile phone company will release new products in 35 days. Based on the current timeline, the new product launch in 35 days will not take place until Apple.
Media reports also confirm that Apple has scheduled its fall launch for the early morning of September 9th.
According to current information, Apple is expected to launch four models at this year's event: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air (replacing the Plus model), iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Already, details about the iPhone 17 series' appearance, specifications, and battery life have been largely revealed.
Now, media outlets have revealed the prices of the iPhone 17 series, a topic of considerable concern.
According to investment bank analysts, prices for the iPhone 17 series will increase this year. The latest leaks indicate that the iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max will each see a $50 price increase, with starting prices now at $949, $1,049, and $1,249, respectively. Only the standard iPhone 17 will remain unchanged, starting at $799.
One reason for the iPhone 17 series price increase is tariff pressure. The US has imposed a 20% tariff on China, while iPhones produced in India also face a 25% tariff due to imported components from China.
Previously, Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that tariffs will cost the company an additional $900 million in costs in the third fiscal quarter, with further increases expected in coming quarters.
Although Apple has not disclosed whether it will pass these costs on to consumers through price increases, analysts generally believe that under tariff pressure, Apple will find it difficult to maintain its original pricing strategy and will ultimately resort to raising iPhone prices to maintain profit margins.
In addition to the new iPhones, Apple will also unveil a host of new products at the event, including the Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, AirPods Pro 3, HomePod mini 2, and AirTag 2.
With nearly a month to go until the iPhone 17 series debuts, are you excited?
