The action-adventure game "Ghost of Yōtei," developed by Sucker Punch and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, will officially launch on October 2nd. As the spiritual sequel to "Ghost of Tsushima," this game features the all-new character Atsushi as the protagonist, and is set in a different historical period, bringing players a brand-new Warring States-era revenge story.
According to the review aggregation website OpenCritic, "Ghost of Yōtei" currently holds a score of 88. Numerous media outlets believe that Atsushi's story and combat experience continue and expand upon the immersive and narrative tension of "Ghost of Tsushima," making it a highly anticipated blockbuster for the second half of this year.
Officially, the game has confirmed that it will utilize a "midnight unlock" mechanism, allowing players in different regions to access the game at midnight on October 2nd in their respective time zones. According to the official PlayStation Store information, Soul of Yoti will be unlocked and released at midnight (local time) on October 2. "Local time" here is based on the player's registered PlayStation Store region.
The North American PlayStation Store is based on Eastern Time, meaning players in the central and western United States can start playing earlier: October 1st at 9:00 PM Pacific Time, 10:00 AM Central Time, and 11:00 AM Mountain Time.
Players in other regions will have to wait until midnight in their respective time zones to start playing.
