ReLU Games, a creative studio under KRAFTON, announced today that its new cooperative horror game "MIMESIS" will officially launch on Steam Early Access on October 27th.

To prepare for the launch, the studio is simultaneously launching several community events, including a final closed beta test, a community localization challenge, and the "MIMESIS Creator Challenge" in collaboration with the KRAFTON Creator Network (KCN).

"MIMESIS" debuted in closed beta and during the Steam New Releases Festival in June of this year, where it ranked among the top four most popular demos and quickly captured the attention of players worldwide.

The upcoming Early Access version will feature new maps, monsters, and resources, enhancing cooperative gameplay. Players will collaborate with friends to battle against "MIMESIS," an AI capable of mimicking voices and behaviors, experiencing the psychological game of trust, which can easily become a trap.

The final closed beta test will run from October 10th to 13th, marking the final debugging phase before the game launch. Players can sign up for the beta test starting September 29th through the official Discord and Steam announcements.

Players participating in the final beta test can also join the "Community Localization Challenge," which involves more than just proofreading text. Players can submit suggestions for translation and cultural differences to further enhance immersion.

This challenge will run until October 14th, and ReLU Games hopes to actively engage with the community.

In addition, the studio will collaborate with KCN to launch the "MIMESIS Creator Challenge" during the final beta test. KCN is a global creator partnership program run by KRAFTON that supports the growth of streamers and game content creators.

Creators who sign up through the "Early Bird Join" event will receive more relaxed participation requirements and additional revenue share. ReLU Games plans to use this event to promote the spontaneous dissemination of community content and further enhance global awareness of the game.
