On October 13th, Black Myth: Wukong announced the details of its latest major optimization patch and stated that it would be rolled out to various platforms. The first platform to receive the update was the PS5, which was announced alongside the announcement. On October 14th, an official update announced the PC update.

However, it's worth noting that this update wasn't available on Steam, the platform with the largest player base, but only on Wegame and Epic Games Stores. The reason for this is currently unclear.
