Developer DON'T NOD recently released a new trailer for the sci-fi adventure game Aphelion, which is expected to be officially released in 2026.

The latest trailer confirms the addition of a second playable character—astronaut Thomas, who will offer players a completely different perspective from the protagonist, Ariana. The two characters have unique approaches: Ariana excels at using her physical abilities to traverse environments, while Thomas, due to his injuries, relies on his wits to piece together clues and solve puzzles.

The new trailer for 'Aphelion' also reveals the Avengers, native creatures inhabiting the planet Persephone. These mysterious beings will relentlessly pursue the two astronauts, who are too defenseless to confront them directly. Ariana and Thomas must use stealth and hiding to evade their pursuit. Notably, the two astronauts did not reunite after their spaceship crashed; they will search for each other in the perilous alien world.

Aphelion is expected to launch in 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms, and is now available on wishlists.
