On the same day, the ARK Club launches a Pumpkin Lantern Treasure Hunt event. Find all the pumpkin lanterns and submit a screenshot; the first survivors to participate will receive the ARK: Lost Colony Expansion Pass.

Visual saturation has been enhanced, significantly increasing the chances of players encountering rare color gamuts in the wilderness.
The Ark Club has launched a new "Pumpkin Adventure" themed decoration and event, hiding 10 golden pumpkin lanterns numbered 1-10 on the map. Players must find all the lanterns, take a photo of their character with one, and submit 10 screenshots to the official Ark Discord private thread. The first successful participants will receive the ARK: Lost Colony Expansion Pass. Collaboration is not supported.
ARK: Survival Evolved's Halloween Event: Fear Returns!
As shadows grow longer and the air grows colder, eerie scenes begin to appear throughout the Ark world, intensifying the Halloween atmosphere. At this time, the highly anticipated "Fear Ascension" event makes a powerful return, bringing a Halloween carnival filled with terror and joy to all survivors. Simultaneously, the new phase of the community creature vote has officially begun, and darkness is once again spreading throughout the Ark world, with even more exciting content awaiting players to explore.
The "Fear Ascension" event will officially launch on October 29th (Pacific Time) and last until November 12th. During the event, a wealth of new content will be released simultaneously, bringing players a brand-new gaming experience. Among the new content, 14 ghost creatures will be introduced, appearing in the Ark world with unique appearances and skills, adding more unknowns and challenges to the survivors' adventures; 10 swimsuit skins and 14 ghost costumes will also be available, which players can obtain by participating in the event to create their own unique Halloween spooky look. In addition, there's a brand-new emote, "Trick or Treat," and a new pet called "Witch Owl," adding more interactive fun for players.
To enhance player participation and gaming experience, this event features server-limited multipliers. For PVP/PVE servers, harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding multipliers are increased to 2.0x; for small-tribe servers, harvesting, taming, and experience multipliers are increased to 4.5x, and breeding multiplier to 4.0x; and for devastated servers, harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding multipliers reach a whopping 5.0x. These high multipliers will help players explore and develop their characters more efficiently.
For private server players, to enable the "Fear Ascension" event, simply add the mod ID (877752) to the server command-line startup parameters (-mods=877752).
It's worth mentioning that the "Fear Ascension" event features a complete visual upgrade, significantly increasing visual saturation. Richer color combinations greatly increase the chances of players encountering rare color palettes in the wilderness, presenting a more vibrant, intense, and dazzling Ark world, delivering an ultimate visual experience.
The "Pumpkin Adventure" event mysteriously begins!
In addition to the rich content of the "Fear Ascension" event, the Ark Club will also bring exciting events to players during Halloween. On Wednesday, October 29th (Pacific Time), the Ark Club will release new spooky-themed decorations and hide 10 golden pumpkin lanterns on the map, each marked with a number between 1 and 10, setting the stage for a thrilling treasure hunt.
To participate in the "Pumpkin Adventure" event, players must find all 10 hidden golden pumpkin lanterns in the Ark Club. Then, take a screenshot of your character with a pumpkin lantern, ensuring the lantern's number is clearly visible (it's recommended to use photo mode to ensure the number is clearly identifiable). Finally, submit 10 screenshots as proof of finding the pumpkin lanterns in a private thread on the official Ark Discord channel to complete your participation.
The first survivors to successfully find and submit proof of all 10 pumpkin lanterns will receive an ARK: Lost Colony Expansion Pass.
Two important notes:
- This treasure hunt does not support player collaboration; players must complete the challenge independently.
- The thread for submitting screenshots on Discord must be private and kept anonymous to ensure fairness.
