On February 25, the Thai Football Association announced yesterday that 15-year-old Manchester United youth star Silva Mex will join the Thai U-17 national team.

Mex is 178 cm tall and was born in England in 2010. He is a speedy left winger. His father is Robert Earnshaw, a striker who played for the Welsh national team, and his mother is of Thai descent.

Mex played for Ipswich youth team, but transferred to Manchester United U16 team in July last year to pursue his dream of becoming a professional player. Manchester United also gave the ace player the symbolic No. 7 jersey.

It is reported that Mex has now chosen to join the Thai U17 national team and has been training with the team for a while. Although his teammates are one or two years older than him, he still shows good personal ability. He is likely to play for the Thai U-17 national team in the U17 Asian Cup in April. In this competition, the Thai team is in Group A with Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and China. The 2025 U-17 Asian Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia from April 3 to 20. Among the 16 participating teams, the eight teams that advance to the quarter-finals will participate in the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup to be held in Qatar in November this year.

China U17 led by Kenichi Uemura will face Thailand at 1:15 on April 10
