Samsung Confirms Galaxy Tab S11 Series Tablets, Expected to Release in September

Aug 05, 2025

According to the latest news, Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S11 series tablets will be released in the second half of this year. Although a specific release date has not yet been officially announced, previous sources have suggested a September release date for the series.

Previous reports indicate that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 (5G) will feature 12GB of RAM and will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. It will be available in gray and silver.

The device maintains the family design, measuring approximately 254.3mm in length and 165.8mm in width.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (5G) also features 12GB of RAM and will be available in 256GB and 512GB storage options. Its exterior and color scheme mirror the Galaxy Tab S11. This tablet retains the design of its predecessor and is expected to feature slimmer bezels. The most notable change is the notch becoming a "small U-shaped notch."

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite (5G) will feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, available in gray, coral red, and silver. It's primarily aimed at casual gamers. Of course, to maintain the Lite model's affordability, its features will differ.

This device is expected to adopt a design similar to the Galaxy Tab S11.

September's new releases aren't limited to the three tablets mentioned above.

Previously, sources revealed that Samsung may bring forward the launch of the Galaxy S25 FE smartphone to August or early September.

Key specifications of this new device have now been revealed.

Compared to the Galaxy S24 FE, the Galaxy S25 FE has few changes. The most notable change is the battery capacity has dropped from 4700mAh to 4500mAh, but wired charging has increased from 25W to 45W.

In terms of size, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is slim and lightweight, measuring 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm. By comparison, the Galaxy S24 FE measures 162 x 77.3 x 8 mm.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE measures 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm and weighs 190 grams. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1080×2340 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It's powered by an Exynos 2400 processor, with either 8GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB of RAM and storage. It houses a 4500mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

It has a rear 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. It also has a 12MP front-facing selfie camera. It runs One UI 8 based on Android 16, supports Galaxy AI, and is IP68 dust and water resistant.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series flagship phones will no longer have standard and Plus editions, leaving only three models: the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

In terms of battery life, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 5000mAh battery with 60W charging support; the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro has 4175mAh/4300mAh batteries with 45W charging support; and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge has 4078mAh/4200mAh batteries, also supporting 45W charging.

Analysts believe that Samsung is elevating the Galaxy S series' market positioning, focusing more on the high-end market. By upgrading the "basic" model to "Pro" and replacing "Plus" with "Edge," while retaining the Ultra as the top-of-the-line model, this suggests a price increase.

While Samsung will not be launching a Plus model this time, it doesn't rule out the possibility of a later release. The Edge model may be the successor to the Galaxy S series.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series may feature a thinner body. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is 7.2mm thick, the S25+ is 7.3mm, and the S25 Ultra is 8.2mm.

Previous leaks indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S26 standard version will retain its 50-megapixel main camera, but the long-standing ISOCELL GN3 (S5KGN3) will be replaced by a new sensor, still from the ISOCELL GN series. The specific model has yet to be announced.
