On August 7, Katie Miller, former spokesperson for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and aide to Elon Musk, posted a video on social media platform X announcing the launch of the "Katie Miller Podcast," aimed at conservative women, and the end of her full-time work with Musk.

Miller said the podcast will focus on lifestyle, news, and gossip, and she plans to speak with "politicians," business leaders, and celebrities. The podcast will air every Monday.

More than halfway through the short video, Miller discusses her career in communications and government, the only time she mentions Musk.

"Recently, I ended my time working full-time for Elon Musk," she said. Miller was by Musk's side during the heyday of his leadership of DOGE and served as the team's spokesperson.

In May of this year, both Miller and Musk left government service. Miller continues to work for Musk in the private sector as a full-time media affairs advisor for Tesla and SpaceX.

Miller is married to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller. In June of this year, Musk and President Trump engaged in a public spat over the "Big, American Act." During the heated social media spat, Musk unfollowed Miller's husband, Stephen Miller, on Facebook. The couple had spent significant time with Musk at Trump's private club, Mar-a-Lago, in Florida, and in Washington, D.C.
