Gears of War: E-Day, the third-person shooter co-developed by Xbox Game Studios and The Coalition, remains on track for a 2026 release.

A recently updated profile on the official Gears of War Twitter account, /X, confirmed the 2026 release window for Gears of War: E-Day.

While development schedules for major AAA games can sometimes fluctuate, the official profile indicates that developer The Coalition remains confident in its 2026 release date. The official synopsis reads: "Gears of War: Reloaded will release on August 26th, and Gears of War: E-Day will be released in 2026."

Previously, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer also mentioned this target release window during the Xbox Games event on June 8, 2023. Additionally, Coalition Studios level designer Michiel Modak listed the target platforms for Gears of War: E-Day as "PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S" on his personal website.
