Owlcat Games has released Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Update 1.5, one of the most comprehensive updates since the game's release. This patch introduces a wealth of new content, including new NPC portraits, Alien and Space Marine gear, and over twenty new talents for Plasma, Arc, and Eldar weapons. Each pet can now trigger a Conviction Form transformation based on the player's Moral Inclination, granting them unique appearances and abilities.

In addition to the new content, Update 1.5 also includes extensive balance adjustments and major bug fixes. Several class origins have been redesigned for improved balance, level progression has been adjusted to mitigate stat inflation, and numerous combat and system errors have been resolved. The patch also optimizes the Imperial Code expansion, corrects quest logic inconsistencies, improves dialogue text, and improves stability and visuals across all platforms.
