Polish indie team Mass Creation has released a new character trailer for their upcoming dark fairy tale action roguelite game, Swords & Slippers.

The game, available for PC and consoles, is already in early access through Patreon, and this trailer focuses on the character of Little Red Riding Hood.

This short film, titled "Little Red Riding Hood vs. Hunter," presents a bloodthirsty version of Little Red Riding Hood, clearly no longer a helpless victim. This time, her target is the hunter known as the kingdom's most ruthless predator.

Though brief, the trailer is impactful, showing Little Red Riding Hood storming into battle in high heels and minimalist armor, exuding a cool and untamed aura.

Swords & Slippers blends hack-and-slash gameplay with deck-building mechanics, combining visual novel settings with romance simulation elements. Players will control a dark fairytale princess who subverts tradition, battling her way through procedurally generated levels against a wicked stepmother, and perhaps even developing some romantic relationships along the way. Snow White is the first playable character revealed, Little Red Riding Hood is the second, and more characters will be added later.

The team chose to develop the game through the Patreon platform, leveraging player support rather than a traditional publisher. Sponsors get early access to game content, behind-the-scenes updates, and exclusive features such as free camera movement, an enemy generator, and what the team calls a "body part enhancer." The studio stated it will adhere to a development philosophy free from external censorship and creative interference.
